Kids Sewing 101 - 4 Tuesday Afternoon Sessions Beginning May 6
Join our exciting Kids Sewing Class for beginners in Los Angeles County!
Discover the fundamentals of sewing, including operating a sewing machine.
Our hands-on classes cover the essential skills you’ll need to start you on your sewing journey. A general outline of the class is as follows:
Week 1 - Sewing basics, supplies, getting to know the sewing machine, practice sewing straight lines, starting on your tote bag (the lining).
Week 2 - Continue working on your tote bag including the outside, handles and final assembly.
Week 3 - Make a custom pillowcase while continuing to practice sewing straight seams.
Week 4 - Zippers! We’ll learn the basics and make a zipper pouch.
We have some fabric available for you to use for your projects or you can purchase from the shop if something catches your eye.
Suitable for individuals at least 8 years old or entering 3rd grade. Hurry, as each session is limited to only 6 participants.
