Discover Meraki Sewing Classes for Girl Scouts
Two sessions tailored for Brownies and three for Juniors
Session 1 – Sewing Supplies
In the first session, we’ll learn about sewing supplies and how to use them. Each Girl Scout will make her own mason jar sewing kit and practice hand sewing by making a felt pouch.
Session 2 – Sewing Machine
In the second session, we’ll learn all about sewing machines. Each Girl Scout will have the chance to use a sewing machine to make her very own drawstring bag.
Session 3 – Quilting
For the Juniors, session three is all about quilting terms and techniques. Each Junior Girl Scout will have the opportunity to craft her very own quilted pillow.
