Camp Meraki - Sewing 101 - Week of July 15

Discover the fundamentals of sewing, including operating a sewing machine.

Our hands-on camp covers the essential skills you’ll need to start you on your sewing journey. A general outline of the camp is as follows:

• We’ll go over sewing basics, supplies, getting to know the sewing machine.

• To get comfortable with the sewing machine, we’ll make a tote bag and a custom pillowcase.

• Then we’ll move to zippers and make a zipper pouch.

• As time permits, we’ll make other fun projects

We’ll supply the fabric and other supplies.

Suitable for individuals at least 8 years old or entering 3rd grade. (Will consider younger depending on circumstances, please email.) Hurry, as each session is limited to only 6 participants.
